Wood: We build our furniture and make our kits from American hardwoods. We use quarter-sawn white oak and cherry for most of the furniture and all of the kits. Occasionally, for the smaller pieces of furniture we build with walnut and maple (the wood selections for each piece are noted near their photographs in the Furniture section of this site). We hand select lumber for all of our furniture and kits to achieve an artful combination of color and graining.
